Multifaceted talent David McNamara has collaborated on major campaigns from concept to completion for brands such as Clairol, Seagrams, Bermuda Tourism, NEC, Michelin Tires and Mobil to name a few. His multi-award winning spot and long-format direction includes clients like Wal-Mart, General Motors, Citibank, AT&T, Firestone, Rolex, and CBS, PSA work for the Maryland anti-smoking campaign, American Red Cross, and the Robin Hood Foundation; Also, directing Andy Warhol, Demi Moore, Jake LaMotta, Mario Andretti, Cindy Crawford, Grant Hill, Jeff Gordon, and the Duchess of York, among others.

Aside from his successful, commercial career, McNamara has directed two short films: Limbo, which he also wrote, and The CollectorLimbo, which is currently in development to be made into a full-length feature, won the Malibu Film Festival and the Garden State Film Festival for Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Picture. An ability to get great dialogue performances from real-people as well as actors defines McNamara's film work, while an honesty and humanity permeate his still photography.

Prior to launching COLLECTIVE, McNamara spent nine years as head of the Shorts Division at Maysles Films. Before that, he was a multi-hyphenate at DDB NY.
